“Update: Apologies to Angel since I have since learned that he DID tell his manager, Junior, to call me on Tuesday. Junior indicated he opted not to since he was "too busy" to do so, having been out on Monday. I also learned that Enterprise did take a while, but only because they did NOT have a reservation for a vehicle for me, so that had to be fixed first, but I was not told that at CC. When I did talk to Junior, he informed me that he was doing me a favor by fixing the paint since a magnet had caused the bubbling. Of course, Angel saw me remove a magnet when I first brought the damaged car in and toss it into the back end. Was anything said about the paint NOT being cured and to avoid putting anything on it for a specified period when I picked up the car the first time? No. Still, instead of just standing behind his work, Junior made sure I knew he did not have any "warranty" responsibility for the paint bubbles. Oddly enough, I had magnets around the license plate area that did not bubble the paint at all. There was a severe lack of communication, half truths, and incomplete information given that created a completely avoidable situation. I only upped to 3 stars because Junior did arrange for a larger vehicle to get the tables delivered. Things started good, but swiftly went downhill. Angel is in charge of my repair from a small rear-ending. He gets my car back to me early. In a week I see the paint is bubbling where the repair took place. I go back and talk to Angel. He's never seen this is his 7yrs, but promises to get it fixed. I ask how long it will take. He says it will be "done in a day." The problem is I have a road trip planned, so we schedule it for two weeks out, which is Mon. Oct 5. My appt was for 0730 and CC knew I'd need a car during this repair time (they use Enterprise). Angel was "in a meeting," despite scheduling me for that time. Then he breezes through the office just before 8 AM, nods at me, and keeps going to his office. At 0823 I ask the receptionist what was going on. Angel was still "in a meeting." I replied that it was probably time for Angel to step out of his meeting and take care of the customer. About 2 min. later, she goes back to Angel's office. Five minutes later, Angel comes out and tells me that this "we are just waiting on Enterprise" as if my hour-long wait was their fault! Not once did he address my car, my job, nothing. Then he turns and helps a new customer. I walk to the desk to give them my key (no one asked), then got picked up by Enterprise. I asked when they were contacted and was told it was around the same time as after the receptionist went back and Angel came out. Not their fault. Keep in mind, I'm thinking I'll get my car (a smaller SUV) back on Monday, so when I get the cheapest, smallest car from Enterprise, I have a concern (my knees do not do well in low cars), but it is only for a day. I also have a 6 ft non-folding table I need to return and it wasn't fitting in that little Nissan! At about 4:15 PM on Monday I call to find out when my car will be ready. Angel says not until Tuesday AFTERNOON! HUH??? Now there's a problem because I have these tables that need to be returned. So I tell Angel I need a bigger car. He says a manager has to approve and there's no manager there. After more discussion, he says he will contact the manager and call me in a 1/2 hour. I call back 45 min. later and Angel says Enterprise was supposed to call me (why? They need Caliber approval to give me a different car, because I asked when I saw the car) and that was why he didn't call back. I expressed my concern that talking to Enterprise would accomplish nothing and Angel says he can't do anything without a manager. He said one would call me Tuesday morning between 0730 and 0809. It is now 0853 and no phone call. Just one more lie in a pile of lies from Angel! So now here I am with tables that need to go back, no contact as promised from Caliber, and my car held until some unknown time this afternoon. NOT a good experience!!!”
