“Hit the spot Lao street food is a true hidden gem conveniently located on Wells Rd, right off the 295 highway! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. The owner personally greeted our family before serving us and kindly took the time to share her inspiring journey of transitioning from a food truck to a full restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic, with large portions and incredibly flavorful taste. For an appetizer, we ordered the Crab Rangoons. You can tell they are handmade, they were perfectly fried and packed with flavor, especially when paired with the dipping sauce. For my main course, I ordered the Pho Lao and was pleasantly surprised by the massive bowl! Everything about it was great. The soup broth and ingredients were slightly different than what we’re traditionally used to, but the flavors went together beautifully. The noodles and meat were delicious! Our last order was the Holy Basil, an amazing rice bowl that includes pork belly, fried onions, and bell peppers, perfectly topped off with a fried egg. You can truly tell that great pride and attention to detail go into all of these dishes. The only reason for the slight half-point deduction is the exterior signage. We happened to visit during their soft opening, and the building was a bit difficult to locate because the previous store's signage is still up. You really have to look for their small, lighted circle logo sign. However, please don't let this be a reason not to visit! The owner explained to us that they are actively working on getting their new sign up before the hard opening. We will definitely be back again, we finally found a Pho spot that completely satisfies our cravings. I highly recommend visiting this wonderfully welcoming place for some seriously tasty food!”
