“We frequent Jersey Mike's pretty regularly but never to this Blanding location. Our go-to order is a Giant Italian sub that we take home uncut, so that we can each have some and save some but today we decided to try a special "Hot Italian". We replaced oil/vinegar with mayo, asked for the pepper relish to be on the side and no other modifications. We were hungry and decided to eat there instead of waiting to get home. Normally a Giant is one long hoagie roll, divided into 4 pieces and we even asked if it was in 4 pieces and were told by the gal taking our order "yes" . I observed her taking out two Regular sub rolls from the bread cart and she proceeded to prepare the meats, cheese & onions on the grill. I got a table to sit at while my husband got our drinks. I noticed the gal walked over to the register, set our wrapped sandwich on the counter & walked away so I went over and retrieved it and took it to our table. The first observation was that she didn't bother to cut each side in half. Then we realized the bread was sliced so poorly that the bottom of the sandwiches were about 1/4" thick or less with much thicker tops, which made it really hard to pick up. Between the melted cheese, wet grilled onions and way too much mayo, the sandwiches were sloppy & squishy, quite off-putting and hands down the worst sandwich I've ever had. The gal who made the sandwich had zero personality and seemed inconvenienced that we were even there, which made the experience even more unpleasant. 1st/last time to this location.”
