What people say
4 out of 5 stars
“Well, when your primary care dr sends you there, only when you get there, the dr asks...so why are you here? It's a bit troublesome when the dr youre referred to didnt get any specifics of my case before hand. Not saying thats his fault or my primary, the system isn't set up right, no comminucation. I have been feeling bad all the time with multiple ongoing symptoms and my pcp has been doing alot of blood work to try and figure it out, so because he didnt know why I was there, I started to explain, but when I asked if he looked at my blood work, he said, he didnt have access to it. Isn't that what we sign when we become a new patient? Sign permission to share medical status? All he looked at was my last ER trip blood tests, again, all he said he had access to . I waited almost 4 months for this appt , and I left there getting scolded for not taking prescription meds for my RA! Knew nothing about me but chose that to discuss. If anyone does a little research , or is given the time to spend with a patient to hear them out and maybe ask to have a look at test results while they're there, as I have it in my portal, but nope . He wasn't rude, just a bit sarcastic, and swemed in a hurry, and the fact that he didnt have access to my test results , being on their schedule for 4 months, affiliates aren't doing the job they should be. I was filling out a BOOK of paperwork because their computer was down and got called back right when I started filing it out and was trying to finish it as we spoke , thinking maybe he might want to take a look at everything they ask you, thought that might want to be viewed before I left. Never asked for it, I just dont understand this system, records should be retrieved BEFORE my appt, I know back 10 to 15 years ago they always were . Nowadays its up to the patient to call and make sure its all there before they come, I guess since computers and Ai do all the work now, not much left for front desk to really do . Like I said the Dr wasn't rude, just knew he was overbooked most likely and didnt have time for me when he didnt know why I was there. Waste of time and money ,and hopes that someone might finally listen. Sure hope whatever IS wrong with me, doesn't get all out of hand because no past records were even sought out . Just very disappointed in our medical system and how it works now. 15 min and youre out the door, no matter what. I still gave 4 stars because I cant fault the dr for being so overbooked that he doesn't have time for inadequacy. I believe hes earned the right to have staff get all info on visit before coming.”
