What people say

4 out of 5 stars

“The trial is well kept and marked. There is one picnic area by the parking lot and one on the trail. Best to do on a cool day or morning, but there is some shade. No bathrooms that I could see. The trial is good for kids that are used to hiking.”

“We enjoyed a beautiful early summer walk on the green path, which winds through the pine flats and by a (now mostly dried) pond. The pathways are clearly marked and well-kept, with very little overgrown vegetation close to the walk. About 3/4 mile down the road there's also an idyllic stand of turkey oaks and maples to enjoy tramping through, followed by more pine and sand flats. Not too many flying nuisances either, which is surprising because a sun shower had just happened before our walk. Suggestion: don't veer too far off the path, especially in summer; there's an abundance of Lone Star and Deer Ticks out there just waiting for a warm body to pass by.”

“Beautiful place to ride! Would really love to see some place in the parking area with some running water to use for horses!”
