“The camp sites are large, but the loops (streets to the campsites) are all washed out and deeply rutted. I looked at a couple of loops and they were the same. I do not recommend going there to camp. I was very concerned about my motorhome getting stuck on the road.”

“Late September at Gold Head State Park was absolutely wonderful! The park was beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well-maintained. The grounds were nicely trimmed, the scenery was gorgeous, and everything felt clean and cared for. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and stay just a bit longer. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend visiting, especially this time of year!”
