Worth the drive from Clay: the 37th annual Christmas Made in the South fills the Prime Osborn Convention Center in downtown Jacksonville with hundreds of juried artists and craftspeople demonstrating and selling handmade gifts, fine art, crafts and gourmet food — a big head start on holiday shopping. Hours: Fri Nov 27, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sat Nov 28, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sun Nov 29, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Adults $10 at the door (one admission good all three days with hand stamp); kids 12 and under free; $1 off with a new unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.
