“Efficient van rental, worked around my busy schedule”

“Having been a loyal customer of Jerry's for years, I've always trusted him with my Budget Truck reservations. However, during my most recent visit in February, there was a mix-up. Instead of receiving the rental truck I had reserved, Jerry inadvertently provided me with another customer's reservation under Hot Box Trucking. What compounded the confusion was that in the past, when Jerry didn't have the exact truck I reserved, he would upgrade me to a larger truck at no additional cost. Jerry folded the DOT matrix paperwork in half before I signed it, inadvertently obscuring a reservation on the other side that wasn't mine. I wouldn't realize that this wasn't my reservation until I noticed billing discrepancies. This blunder escalated into a frustrating ordeal, resulting in a $1200.00 deposit hold on my card, a $330.57 truck charge, and an additional $75.00 no-show fee. Despite my attempts to address the issue with Jerry, he appeared dismissive and failed to take responsibility for the error. Even now, I am still in the process of trying to obtain a full refund from Budget. I have lost all confidence in renting from Budget and will no longer rely on Jerry's services for any future needs.”
