“I am a veggie lover and The Cracker Barrel is one of the handful of dine-in restaurants that do me right. It happens to be my patent answer for where I want to go eat. Although it has an open floor dining area, I (we) request seating away from others and they typically can seat me (us) in a corner so I can brood until the food arrives. There was a moment there when Cracker Barrel was changing the menu. That was a fail and for the most part, they have returned to their senses. They do have a wide array of food choices and if you are a breakfast for dinner person, just ask for the breakfast menu. Of course, taking a gander in the shop is one of the best things about going there. Super fun. Overall, food is priced affordably, seating is pretty good, restrooms are nice and clean, the shop is fun, and a drive by the river is a must for after dinner entertainment.”
