What people say

3 out of 5 stars

“My husband and I stopped here as we were driving north to Pennsylvania. His grandfather trained here in 1944, went to Germany and lost his life at the Battle of the Bulge. Great museum, although the man working the desk was not very informative as he was mostly engaged in his phone. Gift shop was closed and when I asked about it he said it was mostly toys. Would have liked a t-shirt.”

“The staff were amazing! They were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We felt the museum was well-worth the 2-hour trip to see it. Thank you.”

“The museum was temporarily closed when my wife and I were there, so we walked around and looked at the static displays. As veterans of both the U.S. Air Force and the Florida Air National Guard, we were disgusted and appalled by the condition of the aircraft and helicopters on display These aircraft represent an important part of our military history and deserve to be maintained and preserved with the respect they’ve earned. The grounds were also unkempt. The grass desperately needed to be cut, and weeds were growing all over the place. It was disappointing to see the entire area, especially the historic aircraft and helicopters, in such a neglected condition.”
