“A lot of history here and ready neat and unique pieces of history inside. The gentleman who works here is very passionate and made this a great experience. We pass this place all the time and finally went in. It is super hot and muggy inside which is really my only complaint but it’s free admission and takes donations.”

“we had a field trip here. the tour guide was incredibly rude, disinterested, and went so far as to tell kids “i didn’t ask” and “i don’t wanna know” or “i’m losing my patience.” the entire group was well behaved and just trying to show their interest by asking questions, albeit silly ones. they’re children. did not have a great time.”

The Clay County Historical and Railroad Museum Museum
The Clay County Historical Museum and Railroad Collection in the Clay County Historical Triangle in Green Cove Springs, Florida is managed by the Clay County Historical Society. Staffed by volunteers; hours are 2-5pm Sundays and 10-1 Fridays with tours by appointment. The Historical Museum is located inside the Courthouse Annex, the Railroad Collection is in the Train Station. There is also an irresistible, red Caboose that makes a great photo op!
