“Ty and his coworker that I did not catch the name of ripped me off for 2 bags of dog food saying the deal doesn’t exist and that he was the one that put the deal stickers out anyways left and came back bc I found the deal online and showed them it and they insisted on reading the fine print.pause they told me the deal wasn’t existent how would the deal be non existent and still be on my phone on the dollar general website and down the road at the other dollar general where the sticker was still on the shelf for the same dog food and same brand .”

“I use to come here quite often, I came in Sunday 9/13/26 at 4:30pm. I walked back to the dog food and saw there was a bogo deal on the food, so I grabbed 2 bags and walked to the front of the store to get checked out. I got rang up for 2 bags of dog food, I looked at the cashier and told him the price tag said bogo. He walked back there, took the bogo sticker off, came to the front of the store, and asked where I saw the sticker. I walked back there to show him and the sticker was gone. I looked at him and asked him if he put the bogo sticker in his pocket, he lied to me and said no. I asked “can i speak with a manager?” expecting to get some assistance, but I was wrong. He gets the manger and I tell him if he looks at his cameras, he would see his employee removing the sticker. He tells me that he’s the one that puts out the bogo stickers and that he knows there no deal on the dog food. I left with one bag of dog food, went across the street to get gas, and I checked dollar generals website. What do you know, the dog food was bogo. I drove back to the store to show the manger the deal I found on my phone and before I could show him the deal, he says “Read the fine print” meaning that he knew what his employee did the first time I was at the store. I read the fine print and it was for buy a bag of dog food get 1 can free. I admit I read it wrong and he argues with me. He finally tells me “go get your can then.” I told the manger if his employee did not take the bogo sticker off in the first place then I wouldn’t have had to come back. I could’ve walked back to the dog food when he asked me where the sticker was and I could’ve re read it. Instead he took the sticker off, causing me to come back to the store to get the item I paid for!! Regardless on what the fine print stated, I would have been able to get my item and leave the first time with no issues had the employee not taken the sticker off. Tyrone the manger was extremely unprofessional.”
