“Of course I canceled my appointment! I couldn’t afford it! That’s the whole point of this review. You offered no help or empathy and gave a completely superficial response. Your response accusing me of canceling just proves my point more. I cancelled because of your need for more money. I had all of my trust in Erika. I told her my deepest secrets for 12 years. All of a sudden, for whatever reason, I wasn’t qualified to be her patient because I could no longer afford her price increases. She knew as a teacher that I didn’t make that much money. She didn’t mind a bit losing a patient she’d had for that long. I ask myself, what did I do wrong to deserve such a price increase? How can a nurse ask people to pay $150 to talk on the phone for 30 minutes? Call me crazy but that’s just greedy, especially when you lose loyal patients who’ve trusted you for 12 years or more. It feels like a break up. I feel so betrayed. I thought she genuinely cared about me and my health, but I was painfully wrong. She cared about my wallet. I went from paying $45 to talk to her, eventually up to $150. Did she get a new degree? Become a doctor? No. I cannot imagine needing to make $300 an hour to speak to local women in my community. It’s like asking a parent to pay $150 for 30 min of tutoring after 12 years. I could never. I’d be too embarrassed. Erika didn’t care. The money has changed her, and not for the better. Her response wasn’t kind whatsoever. It was basically “ok bye” She knew I wouldn’t be able to reschedule, and she knew I canceled because of the insane price increase. Stay humble folks. Be kind to one another. Do unto others. Don’t let greed take over your values. Money is the root of all evil. Asking people to pay $150 when you know they don’t have that, isn’t “women’s care.””

“I have never had someone go above and beyond for me like Erica Humbert. She is the real deal. I am truly grateful to have such an amazing nurse practitioner caring for me throughout these years. She has become so much more than just a healthcare provider—she treats me like family. She takes the time to listen, never makes me feel rushed, and always makes me feel heard and cared for. I feel incredibly blessed to have her taking care of me. Her dedication and genuine heart make such a difference, and I couldn’t ask for a better person to look after my health.”
