Hours are usually 5 to 8 p.m., and in December, they run 6 to 9 p.m. Lineups usually pair dinner trucks with something sweet. It happens rain or shine, and leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome. Each night's lineup appears on the Oakleaf Food Trucks event page, so you can choose dinner before you leave the house. College Drive Food Truck NightThe next College Drive Food Truck Night is a Halloween edition on Fri., Oct. 23, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 16 College Drive in Orange Park. Expect food trucks, games, and trunk-or-treating. Bring the kids. It's outdoors and will be canceled if the weather is bad. See the event details. College Drive truck nights pop up periodically through the year. The College Drive Initiative shares each one on Facebook. Green Cove Springs Food Truck FridayThis is the big one. On the first Friday of the month, trucks line up around Spring Park, 200 Spring St., right on the St. Johns River in downtown Green Cove Springs. It runs 5 to 9 p.m., and it's free to join in. A local band plays on the riverbank, and vendor booths fill in between the trucks. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Coolers are welcome, and beer and wine are allowed in a designated area in front of the band. The season runs March through November, so Nov. 6 is your last shot until spring. Check the Food Truck Friday page and the Facebook page for details each month. Tuesday nightsEagle Landing Take Out TuesdayOn the fourth Tuesday of the month, trucks park at the Eagle Landing Soccer Park on Tynes Boulevard near Eagle Rock Road in Middleburg. Coming up: Oct. 27, Nov. 24, and Dec. 22. Neighborhood nights in OakleafThe Oakleaf organizer also brings trucks to two neighborhood amenity centers: Midweek Munchies at GreyHawk (3645 Royal Pines Dr.) and Wilford Preserve Food Truck Friday (2740 Firethorn Ave).
