“Tariq Gulzar has poor bedside manner when it comes to dealing with worried or concerned parents. Took my son in yesterday because he’s has a stomach virus for 10 days and was getting worse instead of better. Tariq did order labs (reluctantly) and for that I am grateful but over all he made feel like I was dumb for even bringing my son in and a 10 day stomach virus is completely normal. When I asked him questions he was a complete smart ass and I made sure to have my son’s chart notated to never see Tariq again. If it is completely normal for kids to have stomach bugs for multiple weeks then I’ll accept that but rather than telling me “your son looks great” with an attitude, try something like “ma’am i completely understand your concerns, hopefully this is just a bug but we are going to do what we can to get to the bottom of his issues.” Simple as that. I do not recommend you see this guy if you have a sick baby.”
