What people say

4 out of 5 stars

“Bummer, you gotta drive through a construction zone to get to the trail entrance right now. The main trail is wide and pretty flat. I took a detour onto the red trail, which eventually got flooded, so you have to cut across a smaller trail to your right that leads to a wider trail for the last part of the walk. You'll end up at a picnic table, fire pit, and the river's edge. There are water pumps, but don't drink the water. The trails don't have much shade. This is a great trail for horses.”

“Wide open spaces, old growth well preserved. Old tower out in the middle of nowhere. 😁 Horse friendly.”

“My granddaughter and I took a quick walk, maybe a quarter to half mile in, and saw a beautiful little buck jump across the trail then met a very friendly little turtle hanging out. It was so peaceful, the wind (from the coming storm) was blowing through the trees. Just a lovely quick experience. Looking forward to planning an all day hike”
